One of the many ways to import data into ur-scape is by using ur-scape's QGIS plug-in. Please follow these instructions to install the plug-in.
The plug-in window has two tabs: Parameters and Log. In the first tab you can setup how to import data into ut-scape. When ready, press the Run button. This process can takefrom just a few seconds to a few minutes depending on various parameters, and it can be cancelled at any point by pressing the Cancel button. While running, the plug-in will move to the Log tab and it may display some message to indicate the progrress or any issues/errors.

¶ Log Tab
When the user clicks on Run, the plug-in will start generating the output data for ur-scape. During this process, the plug-in will move to this tab and it may write "log" messages for the user to keep track of the progress. Should anything happen, the user can refer to these messages and either try to troubleshoot by themselves or send it to the development team.
¶ Preparing Data for ur-scape Tools
Aside from importing data layers into ur-scape, this plugin also allows to generate data required by some of ur-scape's tools. Some options in the Parameters panel are specific to these tools and will only become available when specifically configured.
